Jim Sharp has 17 years of experience representing people of all walks of life. Today 84 of 98 Texas appellate Justices are of one partisan perspective. Our courts are dominated by justices with singular experiences and ideologies, rendering our halls of justice narrow and available only to like minds. A court that lacks diversity is unable to engage in rigorous debate that leads to a greater understanding of the law and its application. Only when there is a voice that can move the bench beyond narrow perspectives is justice to be wrested from the law.
